IdleHour Forio’s first show season in Training Level qualified him for the USDF Adequan Region One Finals with his trainer, Nancy Lewis-Stanton, aboard. At Grand Haven, Jefferson, Ohio, Forio was Reserve Champion at Training with 72.4%. In the Finals he competed both the Training Level Championship and First Level. He was fourteenth in a class of thirty in the Championship with a score of 65.8%. First Level Test One Forio received Fifth Place in a class of thirty scoring 62.33%.
Forio is also USDF All Breed Awards Cleveland Bay First Place at Training Level with a score of 68.531%. Elizabeth, Forio’s owner, is a Second Level dressage rider and para-equestrian riding for physical therapy. She purchased a Cleveland Bay for this express purpose due to their kindness, intelligence and safety. Forio more than proved his breed versatility this past Summer enabling Elizabeth to return to riding only eight weeks after knee reconstruction surgery thereby accelerating her recovery by months. Considering Forio is six years old and started under saddle training in January, 2008, his cooperation is astounding. She looks forward to a long, loving partnership with IdleHour Forio and future showing accomplishments!
